Day 01. Arrival Labuhan Bajo - Transfer To Hotel ( D )
Upon your arrival at Labuhan Bajo Harbor or Mutiara Airport, you
will be transferred to hotel. The rest of the day is free and leisure,
or explore the area around the harbor on foot with opportunity for
sunset picture taking. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 02. Labuhan Bajo - Ruteng - Bejawa ( B, L, D )
After breakfast, we will depart the town for Bajawa with en route
stop at Ruteng for lunch. There are some stops we will make during
the drive. First we will stop at Cara Village, where we can observe
unique rice fields that the locals call Linko Lodok or huge spider
web formed rice fields. Next is Ruteng, the district town of Manggarai,
where we will have lunch at a local restaurant. The trip is continued
to Ranamese Lake, a dormant crater on the foot of Ranaka Volcano.
Following is Aimere Village, which is renown for the best 'arak'
wine extracted from lontar palm, and the local name for this alcohol
is sofi or moke. The drink is very popular amongst Flores people,
and it's highlighted often in every festive occasion. Evening, we
will arrive in the district of Bajawa, where you will check in hotel
/ guesthouse or losmen. Dinner will be served at local restaurant.
Day 03. Bajawa - Riung ( B, L, D )
After an early breakfast at hotel, you will proceed to visit traditional
villages of Langa and Bena, where the Ngada tribes are living as
the native inhabitants of Bajawa. These people adore ancestor souls
and the spirits of Innerie Volcano, which they belief that the souls
of their ancestors are still living there. Therefore the people
and the volcano are apart of each other that cannot be separated.
Bena villagers are living from farms and hunting, and ruled by an
absolute leader. After lunch in Bajawa, proceed to So'a hot spring
water, where you may have a mineral bath then continue to Riung
Beach, where you will overnight in bungalows. Dinner at hotel.
Day 04. Riung - Ende - Moni ( B, L, D )
Explore the scenic beach of Riung in the morning, you can overlook
onto the off shore islands near the beach, where million of birds
and bats perch on mangrove trees that grow about the islands. After
breakfast, depart to Ende through Aigela Village then we will follow
the coastal road to Nangaroro Village, where we can see the locals
collecting blue rocks for export. In Ende, we will visit the House
of Soekarno, where the first President of this country lived during
the exile. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant of this town,
then proceed to Moni Village, where you will check in at hotel /
guesthouse or losmens. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 05. Moni - Kelimutu Lake - Maumere ( B, L, D )
To day you will have opportunity to observe the amazing three-color-crater
lakes of Kelimutu. To add the attractions and for the best view
of the lakes, we recommend an early drive up to the hilltop. Spectacular
sunrise, clear and beautiful panoramas surrounding the hillsides,
and the lakes views free of fogs, will become the advantages of
an early visit. After the attractions, descend back to hotel for
rest and breakfast, and continue our drive to Maumere. Some en route
stops for visit may be made at Jopu, a traditional village located
on remote hillside, Sikka Village to see traditional Maumere weavings
and an old Portuguese Church, then Wuring to see traditional fishing
village. Evening, you will check in at your accommodation then free
of your own leisure. Simple lunch will be served at local restaurant
en route, dinner at hotel.
Day 06. Maumere - Transfer For Departure ( B )
After your breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up for transfer
to Waioti Airport. Depart to your next destination. Program Ends.
