With a range extending from a US$ 10 a night room
for the budget conscious traveller, to a US$ 1000 a night luxury
suite in a 5 star international hotel or luxury villas for the person
who wants to 'do it in style' - you're bound to find the price and
style of accommodation that's right for you. A further benefit to
the visitor from this great range of accommodation is that prices
are always very competitive. If the main tourist centres of Kuta
and Sanur are too fast for you, you may prefer one of the more secluded
beach settings (Nusa Dua on the south coast, Lovina in the north
or Candi Dasa in the east); the tranquility of the mountains (Bedugul
or Kintamani) or perhaps the rustic grandeur of a traditional Balinese
grass roof house overlooking rice fields in Ubud is more your thing.
There are also exciting areas such as Jembrana on the west coast
and the neighbouring island of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida.
The range of styles of accommodation is almost
infinite. You can either go for something which is basically 'the
way it is at home' or you may prefer to be a bit more adventurous
and find a living space which is distinctly Balinese. You may even
want a combination of both. In Bali you really can have the best
of both worlds - western comforts with a touch of that special essence
which is Bali. Whatever your choice, traditional or modern, you
can be assured that you'll never have to 'rough it' because facilities
are first class. Each hotel listing includes a description of the
facilities offered.
